The most magnificent French antique curtain! Beautiful hand-embroidered white linen curtain evoking the elegance of the Art Deco and Belle Époque eras. It features lovely cherubs framed in dainty lace patterns.
Six cherubs are represented on this unique piece. Two profiles facing each other on the top tier, two playing the flute, on the right and left corners of the main frame, and of course the two main cherubs in the middle dancing surrounded by flowers, and holding ribbons. The bodies of the two main cherubs are each embroidered in a different pattern, simply gorgeous.

A rare find, both elegant and full of vintage charm. This exquisite piece is in excellent condition, after careful examination, I could only find one tiny hole along the right hand-side edge (please see details on last picture).
