A unique and stunning pair of vintage Colefax Fowler curtains, made with the beautiful 1985 Bailey Rose fabric. This is a rare find, typical English floral pattern featuring lovely bouquets of pink and white roses with blue and green foliage on a warm yellow/beige background.
Beautifully made, pleated top, lined, perfect seam matching.
These interlined curtains have an extra layer of thermal fabric sandwiched between the main fabric and the lining. This adds a layer of fullness and opulence, creating rounded, fuller pleats. Interlining also adds a layer of insulation and helps protect the face fabric from the sun.
PLEASE NOTE: the lining shows some yellowing and stains here and there, the interlining is in perfect condition, I noticed one stain on the outer fabric about 10cm from the side edge, please see picture.
Also upon close inspection, it looks like there is a slight colour difference on the fabric on either side of the vertical seam, again please see picture for details.
Overall still a fantastic pair of curtains. The fabric could of course be repurposed, perfect for a selection of cushions or any soft furnishings and home projects.
