Such a grand fabric by Arthur Sanderson! This is the Chenonceaux fabric from 1989, featuring a very elegant design of large scale bouquets of flowers with wide cascading ribbons. Lovely ivory and light red blossoms with green foliage on a beautiful chintz cotton quality.

Chenonceaux was named undoubtfully after the splendid Chenonceau castle in the Loire Valley, a Renaissance masterpiece known for its richly decorated interiors. This fabric has a very regal yet romantic feel, truly a rare find!

The fabric is in excellent unused condition with a lovely sheen.

PLEASE NOTE: a few yellow/orange marks can be seen here and there on the selvedge without any impact on the fabric itself, see last picture for details. This fabric was kept in storage and has a slight musty smell, so would benefit from being aired out.
