Such a grand fabric by Arthur Sanderson! This is the Chenonceaux fabric from 1989, featuring a very elegant design of large scale bouquets of flowers with wide cascading ribbons. Lovely ivory and light red blossoms with green foliage on a beautiful chintz cotton quality.

Chenonceaux was named undoubtfully after the splendid Chenonceau castle in the Loire Valley, a Renaissance masterpiece known for its richly decorated interiors. This fabric has a very regal yet romantic feel, truly a rare find!

The fabric is in excellent unused condition with a lovely sheen.

PLEASE NOTE: a few yellow/orange marks can be seen here and there on the selvedge without any impact on the fabric itself, see last picture for details.
